Cheese & Kashar Equipment

Grated kashar is a value-added product sold to the pizza, toast, and ready-meal sectors. The machine grates block kashar at an even thickness without crushing it.

In short

A kashar grating machine is a stainless industrial machine that grates block kashar with interchangeable discs at an even thickness without crushing it. Capacity is 200–1,500 kg/h and disc options range from 2–8 mm. A block feed hopper with pressing piston, an outlet conveyor, and a safety-interlocked cover are standard; anti-caking powder dosing is optional.

Cheese & Kashar Equipment

About the product

An even shred size matters for packing and for how the cheese melts when cooked. Shreds that are cut unevenly or crushed hurt both appearance and shelf life.

The machine has a block feed hopper with a pressing piston, interchangeable grating discs, and an outlet conveyor. The cover is safety-interlocked and fitted with an emergency stop.

Capacity, disc set, anti-caking powder dosing, and the connection to packing are engineered to your needs.

Who is it for?

  • Producers who want to sell grated kashar to the pizza, toast, and ready-meal sectors
  • Dairies that want to add value by turning block kashar into grated product
  • Wholesale cheese processors that need to offer different shred thicknesses
  • Operations that want to connect the grater to a packing machine by conveyor

When is it not suitable?

  • It is not suitable for cheese that is not in block form, or very soft, sticky cheese; cold block product must be fed.
  • It may be unnecessary in very small production that sells grated product without packing.
