General
- What does Aktaş Krom manufacture?
- We manufacture stainless milk transport and cooling tanks, milk drawers, and custom food equipment for facilities. Production takes place at our workshop in Sakarya.
- Where is production carried out?
- Manufacturing runs at our facility at İstiklal, Sanayi Cd., 54050 Serdivan/Sakarya. For an on-site visit, book an appointment with İsa Aktaş (0536 374 98 38).
- Which regions do you deliver to?
- We deliver to every province in Turkey. Distance, installation, and logistics are clarified in the quote.
- Do you sell from stock or manufacture to order?
- Production is made to order. Capacity, body shape, vehicle chassis, or space dimensions are engineered to requirement — standard sizes are not imposed.
Products and technical
- How is capacity determined?
- Daily milk volume, milking frequency, collection schedule, and space or vehicle dimensions are assessed together. Capacity is calculated from these inputs.
- What is the material standard?
- AISI 304 stainless steel is used on food-contact surfaces. Insulation, valve, lid, and refrigeration unit details are specified in the quote according to product type.
- What is the difference between a milk transport tank and a cooling tank?
- A transport tank focuses on maintaining temperature on the collection route; a cooling tank chills milk to the target temperature after milking and holds it there. One or both are recommended depending on your operation.
- Is CIP (clean-in-place) compatibility available?
- Internal surfaces aim for wide-radius transitions with no dead spots; tanks are designed for cleaning both manually and with in-place wash systems. Details are shared in the quote according to product type.
- Do you provide installation, commissioning, and service?
- Delivery, installation, and commissioning plans are included in the quote. After-sales spare parts and technical support are handled by the same team.

- What information should I share for a quote?
- Daily milk volume, existing equipment type, space or vehicle dimensions, and any technical specification if available are sufficient. Filling in the contact form or calling us is enough to get started.
- How quickly do you respond?
- Requests received during business hours (Monday – Saturday · 08:30 – 18:00) receive a reply the same day or within one business day at the latest.
- Is the quote free?
- Needs assessment and preliminary quotes are free. Final price, capacity, and options are shared in writing once details are confirmed.
- How can I send specifications or technical documents?
- You can email documents to info@aktaskrom.com. You may also select a subject and leave a summary via the form; sending the file by email afterwards is sufficient.
Tender and specification
- What exactly does tender support cover?
- It covers line-by-line reading of the technical specification, capacity recommendation, conformity declaration, compilation of catalogue and drawing files, and manufacturing-based pricing. Legal representation or EKAP procedures are out of scope.
- What should be checked so a bid is not excluded from evaluation?
- Body thickness, insulation, refrigeration unit, panel, and material clauses must match the product. As the manufacturer, we show these items in a written comparison table.
- Do you support specification drafting on behalf of institutions?
- We can share technical input for measurable specifications that do not lock to a single brand before procurement. The final administrative text and approval remain the institution's responsibility.
